HTceramix SA (HTc) is an entirely independent SME company in Switzerland. HTceramix’s mission is to offer cost competitive FC stacks in the range of 1 to 50 kW, based upon its Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) technology. HTceramix is developing a SOFC stack de-sign for OEM companies willing to commercialise new power generation modules fuelled by carbon based fuels, generating electricity and heat on-site where it is used. This spin-off activity results from more than 10 years of dedicated research in the field of SOFC at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). Based on the personal commitment of its founders and a thoroughly worked business plan, the Swiss Department of Economy awarded the com-pany with the CTI Start-Up Label, facilitating greatly joint development projects with academic partners.
